Kenneth is Principal clarinet of the Dallas Opera Orchestra. He is also Principal of the Lewisville Lake Symphony, the Wichita Falls Symphony, and has performed with the Dallas and Fort Worth Symphony Orchestras. He performed and has recorded with Anshel Brusilow while Principal Clarinet of the Richardson Symphony Orchestra from 1990 - 2010, and with Howard Dunn and Frederick Fennel while Principal of the Dallas Wind Symphony. Krause holds degrees from Northwestern University, where he studied with Larry Combs, and North Texas State University, where he studied with James Gillespie. Additionally he has studied with Andy Crisanti, former Principal Clarinet of the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra. Kenneth is an instructor of clarinet at the University of Texas at Arlington.
Forest Aten has served as 2nd and bass clarinetist for the Dallas Opera since 1988. He performed with the Dallas Opera from 1978 to 1988, in their shorter spring season. Forest has performed with the Lyric Opera, Dallas, principal clarinet of the Richardson Symphony from 1980-1988, Dallas Ballet orchestra from 1978-1988, was a founding player in Texas Winds, performed many years with the Dallas Wind Symphony, nine seasons with Music in the Mountains, Durango and has been an artist/coach with Kammermusik Workshops, Santa Fe, for the past eleven seasons. As a freelance musician, Forest has performed with the San Antonio Symphony, Dallas Symphony, Ft. Worth Symphony, Shreveport Symphony, Plano Symphony, East Texas Symphony, Wichita Falls Symphony and with many per-service contract orchestras and chamber music ensembles. Forest has recorded with the Dallas Symphony, the Dallas Wind Symphony and for many commercial recording studio jobs.
Daniel (Danny) Goldman is a multi-faceted musician, clarinetist, and producer. He most recently became a core member of The Dallas Opera Orchestra and is also its liaison to the Board of Directors. Danny plays chamber music around the country: most recently, Brahms’ Clarinet Quintet with The Amaryllis Quartet in New York City and Schoenbergs’ Pierrot Lunaire with The New Fromm Players at Tanglewood. Orchestral performances include The Philadelphia Orchestra, Louisville Orchestra, Louisiana Philharmonic, Pacific Music Festival Orchestra, The IRIS Orchestra, and The Dallas Chamber Symphony. He has performed concerti with ensembles including The Louisville Orchestra, The New Juilliard Ensemble, and The World Youth Symphony Orchestra and has worked with conductors including Zubin Mehta, James Levine, Christoph Eschenbach, and Lorin Maazel. Danny is the newest member of The IRIS Orchestra conducted by Michael Stern. Danny also performs Klezmer, Big Band, and Dixieland; concerts include The Trinity River Dixie Kings and The Best Little Klezmer Band of Texas. He produces music for commercials, movies, documentaries, and hip-hop/pop artists. Danny holds a Master’s degree from Rice University where he studied with Michael Webster and a Bachelor’s degree from The Juilliard School where he studied with Ricardo Morales.
